Kevin Rutschman has played the drums since age 10. He studied music at Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas, earning a BA degree in Percussion, with a minor in Education. After graduating in 1997, Kevin Relocated to Atlanta, Georgia and performed as a drumset player and percussionist both locally and touring. Since returning to Kansas in 2015, he has been performing in and around Wichita, and teaching private lessons.
Kevin has performed or recorded with the following: Grant Green Jr., Ike Stubblefield, Francine Reed, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, George Porter, Jr., Susan Tedeschi, Fred Tackett, Sean Costello, Sam Skelton, Zac Brown, Randall Bramblett, Jerry Hahn, Lisa Hittle, Craig Owens, Sterling Gray and many more.
