Air House Studio provides musicians the unique opportunity to record in both analog and digital. Our gear is professional and industry standard, including a vintage tape machine to help provide that analog warmth so often missing in contemporary digital only recording.
Our recording engineers combined have over 30 years of experience working the control room. If you are after a certain sound or feel, our engineers led by Head Recording Engineer Micajah Ryan can take you from demo tape to professionally recorded album.
Audio Recording may require at least as much discipline and commitment as learning to play an instrument well. The number of skills involved and mental acuity needed is incomprehensible to the average person. The best way to learn this art is to sit at the feet of a person who has mastered the art and observe closely. Air House Music Academy offers the chance to have one-on-one instruction with someone who has spent years honing that craft.
Air House has a versatile and extensive lesson program. Lessons are customized to fit the needs and interests of the students. Instrumental and vocal lessons are offered for all ages of students, children through adults. All genres and styles of music are offered, so whatever style of music you are interested in playing, we have a teacher for you!
Some students understand from the first moment they play their instrument that they want to perform. Other students simply enjoy performing with a group of people. Air House is pleased to offer Jazz Ensembles guided by dedicated teachers who are well respected in the local jazz community. Here students are encouraged to learn how to listen to each other, while also gaining confidence and practice with improvisation and self-expression.
