This program gives students the opportunity to be in an original band comprised of students with similar interests and experience. The program is open to all instruments, ages and levels.
Rock Band Experience is a 10 week program. Under the guidance of an Air House instructor, the band will compose one or more original songs together. The first 8 weeks will be dedicated to composing and rehearsing. On the 9th week, the band will have the opportunity to record their song in the Air House Recording Studio with professional equipment and engineers. Each student will receive a CD of their recording. The program will reach its finale on the 10th week with a concert featuring a live performance by all of the bands.
Although titled “Rock Band Experience”, the program is not limited to “rock” and is open to original music of all styles. The program is also open to pre-existing bands that would like guidance in developing their music. Students are welcome to sign up to be in bands with their friends. The program is open to everybody, not just those who are taking lessons at Air House Music Academy.
The goal is to share the joy of creating music and to help students realize their creative potential. This program aims to give people an experience that they will remember for the rest of their lives, always knowing that they CAN write music and be creative. Rock Band Experience hopes to be an inspiration, serving as the first of many wonderful experiences in creating music.
Fee for 10 week program is $150. Classes will begin the first week in March and conclude the first week of May.
