Air House offers both traditional classical piano lessons as well as non-traditional, pop-music piano lessons. Lessons are offered for young children through adults and are customized to meet the needs and interests of the students.
For young children, Air House has teachers with specific training in elementary and pre-elementary education. Lessons for very young children can even be a combination of piano and basic musical skills and appreciation. Our teachers are very good in working with children, so you can feel confident that your child will have a positive learning experience.
We have a wonderful selection of accomplished classical piano teachers. Traditional classical piano instruction is available for all ages and skill levels.
For students that are interested in other styles of piano playing, we offer instruction in pop, rock, R&B, jazz, worship, blues and more. In addition to learning to read music, students can learn to read chord charts, play by ear and improvise.
Air House also offers songwriting and composition lessons on the piano. Several of our teachers are accomplished composers and songwriters with the skill and passion to help students learn how to compose their own music!
There are many reasons why learning an instrument is beneficial for anyone, but recent research has shown that students who study music tend to do better with abstract subjects in school, like math and science. These students also demonstrate improved reading comprehension. If you're a parent thinking about signing your child up for lessons, you might find some of the results of studies linking longterm success and music education interesting. We take great pride in our facilities at Air House Music Academy. We purposefully designed and created three separate studio spaces with private lesson rooms to help maximize a student's engagement with music education. One of the many benefits gained by choosing to study music at Air House is a commercial free environment. We believe students should be able to focus on music education and enjoy the experience without unnecessary pressure and advertising.
